![]() There was no welcome and he went over the hotel and restaurant hours and seemed like he was ready for us to leave. ![]() Now on to the cons - Poor Service When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by the Front Desk Supervisor with an attitude. The airport is also a 30 min rail ride away. It is in the middle town within walking distance to the rail station and pretty much most of the attraction in the city. Lets start off with the pros for this hotel (there isn't much) but the location is spectacular. Looking forward to staying at the Monaco when I can return to Salt Lake City! Additionally, the Monaco was a beautiful hotel and lunch at Bambara was great too. This experience just reinforced why Kimpton will always be my favorite - their customer service is top-notch and they always make you feel valued and welcomed. ![]() When we arrived, Justin knew exactly why we were there and took care of us immediately and with a friendly smile. As always, I was met with a friendly and accommodating response that it would not be a problem and that a note would be left so that the manager working that day would know to expect us. Kimpton is my hotel chain of choice and I always have amazing customer service, so I called and introduced myself as an IHG rewards member and asked if there was any way we could store our bags there for a few hours in the afternoon even though we were not staying at the hotel. We had several hours to kill after check out and wanted to fit in some sightseeing in DT SLC. I had to post a review on how the Monaco went above and beyond for us, and we weren't even guests at the hotel! My group was staying in Park City but flying out late in the day from SLC.
